The Pro Loco Association of Porciano was founded in 1981 and is responsible for the safeguard and the promotion of the area's natural, historical and artistic resources.
During the summer months, the Pro Loco organizes various cultural and entertaining activities, such as classical and opera music concerts, celebrations with live music and dances, and restaurants and cinemas in the open. The Pro Loco also organizes hikes and walks to places of historical and cultural importance around Porciano.
